This guide covers the alternate endings in Neon Abyss, detailing the choices and actions required to unlock each one. There are multiple endings, and some require specific decisions or reloading save files to experience.

Key Decisions:

• There are three Image & Text Files in this section, all missable.
• Three Achievements are available, but you must choose between the final two. Reloading a save file is necessary to unlock both in one playthrough.

Rescuing Charles:

1. Inspect files on the whiteboard to find the 'The End (5/8) - Robot Puppets' File.
2. Interact with the life support device and computer. Read all files on the PC desktop, especially the diagram for a code.
3. Interact with the chain console control panel. Adjust the height of the colored lamps to match the diagram:
• Purple/orange button twice.
• Yellow/green button once.
• Blue button twice.
4. Descend the stairs into the Secret Corridor.
5. Examine the diary and the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device for the 'The End (6/8) - The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device' File.
6. Speak with Charles and use the Crowbar on the holding cell door to free him. This unlocks the 'The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache' Achievement.

Decision Time:

1. After rescuing Charles, you'll face two questions. The first choice has no impact, but the second determines which of two Achievements you unlock. You cannot unlock both simultaneously without reloading a save.
2. Turn it off: Unlocks 'The Liberation' Achievement and the 'The End (7/8) - The History Between Edward and Luna' File.
3. Keep it on: Unlocks 'The Benevolence' Achievement. This choice does not unlock the aforementioned File.

The Final Confrontation:

1. Regardless of your choice, you will return to the secret room where Charles was rescued. There is no turning back once you proceed.
