Walkthrough

    Rescuing Charles:
    1. Inspect the files on the whiteboard to find the "The End (5/8) Robot Puppets" File.

    Interact with the large life support device and then the computer. Read all files on the PC desktop, especially the diagram.

    Return to the far left and interact with the chain console control panel.

    Adjust the height of the coloured lamps to match the computer diagram: press the purple/orange button twice, the yellow/green button once, and the blue button twice.

    Descend the newly appeared stairs into a Secret Corridor.

    Examine the diary near the doorway, then head left.

    Inspect the Beta Type Consciousness Transmission Device to find the "The End (6/8) The Research Information of Consciousness Transmission Device" File.

    Speak with Charles.

    Grab the Crowbar from the far right of the room.

    Use the Crowbar on Charles' holding cell door. This will unlock the "The Story of Rescuing the White Mustache" Trophy/Achievement.
  • Decision Time:
    1. You will be presented with two questions. The first choice has no impact, but the second choice determines which of two Achievements you unlock.
    2. To unlock "The Liberation" Trophy/Achievement and the "The End (7/8) The History Between Edward and Luna" File: Choose to "Turn off the equipment." Interact with the life support device.
    3. To unlock "The Benevolence" Trophy/Achievement: Choose to "Leave the equipment on." No further interaction is needed for this choice, but you will miss a File.
    4. Note that you cannot unlock both Achievements in one playthrough and will need to reload a save to get the other.
  • The Final Confrontation:
    1. Regardless of your choice, you will need to return to the secret room where you rescued Charles. Head down the stairs when ready.
