CREATING CHARACTERS ------------------------------------------- <C05002>

Learn how to assign bonus points, understand experience point formulas, and calculate creation costs for different title ranks in Phantom Blade Zero.

After selecting a character to create, you can assign bonus points to their attributes. Assigning bonus points costs Bordeaux, not mana.

The maximum experience points you can purchase for a job is calculated using the following formula:

Experience Points = [2 * sqrt(highest level of that job)] + (6 or 7)

You can obtain a maximum of 206 experience points through character creation, and 300 through transmigration.

As you level up a character class, the titles available for that class upon creation will change. At the start of the game, only rank 0 or rank 1 titles are available. Leveling up a class, such as Valkyrie, will unlock higher-ranked titles for subsequent creations of the same class. Upon reaching level 100 with a class, you can create characters with rank 5 titles. Rank 5 appears to be the highest available title rank.

The cost to create a character with a specific title rank is determined by the following formula:

Cst(Title Rank n) = Cst(Title Rank 0) [ 1 + (0.25 * Title Rank of n) ]

• Cst(Title Rank n): The cost to create a character with title rank n.
• n: The numerical value of the title rank (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5).
• Cst(Title Rank 0): The cost to create a character with a rank 0 title. This cost is unique to each character.
• Title Rank n: The numerical value of the title rank being calculated.

For example, a Rank 0 Dungeon Monk with 15 EXP costs 331,200. If you purchase the same Dungeon Monk with a rank 3 title, 15 EXP will cost 579,600.

Cst(Title Rank 3) = Cst(Title Rank 0)[1 + (0.25*3)]
Cst(Title Rank 3) = 331,200[1 + 0.75]
Cst(Title Rank 3) = 331,200[1.75]

The formula for the cost when increasing EXP is not definitively known, as it appears to vary between character classes.
