Walkthrough
  1. 1
Laharl will not move for his first 2 turns.
  2. 2
All Misc Weeds and Crystals are close enough to be damaged by Big Bang.
  3. 3
Without "Quick Attack," you'll need around 1500-2000 speed to move before Laharl (he has approx. 5000 SPD but idles for his first 2 turns). If your speed is too low, confined characters will be vulnerable when his 3rd turn arrives.
  4. 4
The turn order may initially suggest Prinnys act before Laharl's 3rd turn, but this is before objects are placed on the field. The Prinnys holding objects will have reduced speed.
  5. 5
Prinnys hold high-leveled Crystals, reducing their speed. Prinnys have 80% guard, so you'll likely destroy the Crystals before significantly damaging their HP. Laharl is the main threat, but these Prinnys are still very strong.
  6. 6
The 4 farthest objects from Marona are the 2 Misc Weeds and 2 Crystals (ignore Pillars). Use these objects to confine your fastest group (ideally with Quick Attack). Confine your 2 best mages to the 2 Misc Weeds between the Crystals.
  7. 7
With the top 6 objects used, take your party of 6 + Marona and attack the Prinnys. Ensure your characters have enough SP to move apart, preventing Laharl from targeting a group with Overlord's Wrath.
  8. 8
If you defeat the Prinnys before Laharl's 2nd turn (very achievable with Quick Attack), you might defeat him before he attacks or at least significantly lower his HP.
