Master Phantom Blade Zero's Mana +10% guide for subsequent visits. Learn strategies for Plain Lizardman, Werewolves, and Cursed Cradle summons to maximize your gains.
This section covers strategies for enemies encountered during subsequent visits, specifically focusing on the Plain Lizardman encounter and the Cursed Cradle stage.
Plain Lizardman Encounter (Subsequent Visits)
Although there are only 3 enemies, they are very high leveled. The werewolves should be taken out first, as their Bound Strike is significantly weaker than Instant Death. Recommended party includes Ash and an archer (Driftwood and Mushroom). Confine another fighter to the Fish, even though it's far away, as it's the best item on the map. Confine a couple of mages to the Weeds near Marona, not too close to the enemy. To achieve this in one turn, head towards the brighter grass patch near Marona that leads down to the river. From here, you should be able to confine to the Fish, Mushroom, Driftwood, and Weeds. You outnumber them, so it shouldn't be too difficult.
STAGE 13-2 Cursed Cradle
Enemies: LV 60 Doki Blob, LV 47 Great! Summon, LV 46 Quick Summon x2, LV 5 Summon x9 (Adamnt Summon x5, Serious Summon x4)
Items/Objects: Weed x8, Rock x4, Flower x2, CurseTree, Mushroom
Protection: Damage 40% (CurseTree), KeepOut: Red (Doki Blob)
At the start of the Blobs' 3rd turn, the barrier will disappear, and you will face 7 more enemies. Before this happens, eliminate most, if not all, enemies on your side. Confine 2 fighters and a mage to the Mushroom, Rock, and Flower, respectively, then begin defeating the summons. There is a Rock behind the Great! Summon, but it's advisable to hold off on confining Ash to it until the barrier is gone. In the meantime, utilize the Weeds. If the blobs' turns are taking too long, feel free to defeat him before his 3rd turn to gain extra EXP. When approaching the other side, be cautious as the summons will use roundhouse attacks or steal weapons. If the summons pick up the 2 Rocks, try to disarm them with a skill (e.g., Hurricane Slash) or use magic on them.
After clearing the stage, watch the scene to see Sprout again. This is a very short episode; head back to Phantom Island for a scene that leads into the next episode.
