Alright, let's talk about HM Rock Climb (TM100) in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This one's pretty important for getting around later in the game, especially for climbing up those rocky surfaces. You'll need to grab it before you can really explore some of the tougher routes.

Where to Find Rock Climb (TM100):

First off, you'll need to make your way to Snowpoint City. The path to get there is Route 217, and it's a snowy, tricky route, so be prepared for some challenging navigation. As you head up the west side of Route 217, you'll spot a house. Go inside, and a guy there will mention he lost his TM somewhere nearby. Don't worry, it's not far!

Head back outside and go slightly up and to the right of the house. You should find the item containing TM100, which is Rock Climb. As a little bonus, if you head back inside the house after finding the TM, the man will give you an Icicle Plate for your trouble, and he won't even ask for his TM back!

How to Use Rock Climb:

Now, just because you have the TM doesn't mean you can use it right away. You'll need to defeat the Snowpoint City Gym Leader, Candice. She specializes in Ice-type Pokémon, so make sure you've got some Fire-type Pokémon ready to go to make that battle quick and easy. Once you've beaten her, you'll officially have the ability to use Rock Climb outside of battle.

To actually use it, just get close to any rocky surface you need to climb. You'll see a prompt appear, and you can press the 'A' button to start climbing. Press 'A' again to continue ascending. Easy peasy!
