    In Pastoria City, find a suspicious Team Galactic Grunt near the entrance to the Great Marsh. Speak to him.

    He will run off towards the eastern gatehouse. Follow him and speak to him again.

His team consists of Starly (Level 26), Buizel (Level 26, if you didn't choose Chimchar), Roselia (Level 26-27, if you didn't choose Piplup), Ponyta (Level 27, if you didn't choose Turtwig), Grotle (Level 31, if you chose Piplup), Monferno (Level 31, if you chose Turtwig), or Prinplup (Level 31, if you chose Chimchar).

    After defeating your rival, enter the gatehouse to reach Route 213.

    Travel south along the sand, then east along the narrow path. You will find the Galactic Grunt again. Speak to him.
