Alright, so you've made it to the postgame in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl! To get to the Fight Area, you'll need to head south of Snowpoint City. Look for a sailor standing by a boat – he's your ticket there. You can't Surf your way over, so chatting with him is the only way to reach the Battle Zone, and your first stop will be the Fight Area itself.

As soon as you arrive, your rival will pop up and point you towards the Battle Tower. But before you rush off to challenge it, let's check out what the Fight Area has to offer.

Items in the Fight Area

First things first, let's grab some freebies. To the left of the Pokémon Center, you'll find a patch with eight berries. Specifically, there are four Pomeg Berries and four Hondew Berries. These are great for boosting a Pokémon's friendship, but remember they do lower HP and Sp. Attack base points respectively, so use them strategically.

After snagging those berries, head east to find the Poké Mart. Chat with the old woman inside – she'll hand you a free Scope Lens! This item is super useful because it increases the holder's critical hit ratio. It's a fantastic item to give to a Pokémon, especially with all the tough battles ahead, like the ones in the Battle Tower.

Poké Mart Stock

Speaking of the Poké Mart, it's worth checking out what they have for sale. Since you've earned all eight Gym Badges, the stock here is permanent. You'll find all the essentials, from basic Poké Balls to powerful Full Restores. It's a good place to stock up before you dive into the Battle Tower challenges.

Other Spots in the Fight Area

Besides the Poké Mart and Pokémon Center, there are a few NPC houses scattered around. Honestly, don't expect much from the folks living here – they mostly just talk about how tough the Battle Zone is and how you need to be a top trainer to handle it. They're really just there to hype up the Battle Tower.

Of course, the Pokémon Center is there for you to heal up your team. Like the other NPCs, the ones inside will also be talking about the Battle Tower. Once your team is fully healed and you've grabbed all the items, you're all set to head towards the Battle Tower!
