How to Defeat Champion Cynthia

Spiritomb (Level 61): This Pokémon has no weaknesses since Generation 6, but is weak to Fairy-type moves. Be wary of Sucker Punch, which can hit first if you use an attacking move.

Roserade (Level 60): This Pokémon has high Special Attack. Use physical Fire, Flying, Ice, or Psychic moves. Infernape is ideal due to its high Speed.

Gastrodon (Level 60): Grass-type moves deal 4x damage. If you lack Grass moves, use anything that isn't Fire, Rock, Poison, or Steel. Avoid Water-type moves due to Storm Drain.

Lucario (Level 63): Use Fire, Fighting, or Ground moves. Lucario is fast and hits hard with special moves, but has poor defenses. Be quick to prevent it from boosting its Special Attack with Nasty Plot.

Milotic (Level 63): Water-type Pokémon are weak to Grass and Electric-type moves. Electric-types are preferable as Grass-types can take heavy damage from Ice Beam. Milotic will have its Defense boosted by Marvel Scale if burned by its Flame Orb.

Garchomp (Level 66): This is Cynthia's signature Pokémon. Ice-type moves deal 4x damage, while Fairy and Dragon-type moves deal 2x damage. Garchomp carries a Yache Berry that weakens the first Ice move by 50% and Poison Jab to counter Fairy-types. Consider using Ice Shard for guaranteed damage or Blizzard after surviving the first round. Legendary Pokémon like Dialga (Roar of Time) or Palkia (Spacial Rend) can also be effective if trained. Be aware that Dialga is weak to Earthquake and Palkia is weak to Dragon Claw.
