Discover all wild Pokémon encounters, item locations, and trainer battles on Route 224 in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Includes surfing, fishing, and Poké Radar details.

Route 224 is a post-game area in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. It is primarily known for its wild Pokémon encounters and hidden items. Access to the central raised strip requires squeezing through a gap in the trees. At the end of the route, Professor Oak may appear if you have Oak's Letter, leading to Seabreak Path and the Flower Paradise where Shaymin can be found.

How to Reach the Central Raised Strip

To access the central raised strip of land on Route 224, find a small gap between trees on the western edge of the grassy field. This gap is located just above a 3x3 cluster of trees. Once through the gap, you can proceed between the trees or surf around.

What to Do at the End of Route 224

At the endpoint of Route 224, you may encounter Professor Oak if you possess the Oak's Letter (obtained via future event distribution). He will then reveal the path to Seabreak Path, which leads to the Flower Paradise, the location of the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin.
