Walkthrough
- 1As you proceed, you'll find useful items like Used Plastic Tubing x2 and the EMP Shielding 19.4GHZ chipset, which reduces EMP damage.
- 2On your way out, check under the stairs and behind the red glowing part of the wall for Duck Beer x2.
- 3Exit the current area and head left. January will contact you, updating your objective to find Dr. Calvino's workshop keycard.
- 4Optional Objective: Use the security station to discover Dr. Calvino's location in Hardware Labs.
- 5Continue past the door and check a toolbox for Spare Parts and a Corroded Coil. You'll also find another Corroded Coil, a Burnt Circuit Board, and a Frayed Wire.
- 6Nearby, on a crate, you'll find Used Plastic Tubing covering a maintenance shaft. If you have the "Leverage I" ability, you can use this as an alternate entrance to the "Machine Shop".
- 7Return to the front door and enter.
- 8The Atrium (Upstairs): Use the elevator to go upstairs. You'll find "Miyu Okabe's Corpse". Loot her for a Broken Cooler Fan, Spare Parts, and the Transcribe: Miyu Okabe.
- 9Head left and go to the corner where cargo broke the rails. Check the ceiling for Spare Parts.
- 10Further down is the "Beams and Waves Lab" / "Combustion Lab". Inside, look to the left to update an optional objective.
- 11Optional Objective: Find an Artax Propulsion System fabrication plan in Hardware Labs.
- 12You'll see Dr. Calvino floating with his keycard.
- 13Head back out and continue, jumping the gap in the corner. Near a monument, you'll find a Silenced Pistol and 9MM Bullets x4.
- 14Proceed to the "Medical Bay" door. Inside, you can find the Medkit Fabrication Plan and a Medkit. There's also an OPERATOR DISPENSER if you need healing. Open the access panel and enter.
- 15Inside, you'll find a Burnt Circuit Board on the right. Beware of mimics further in.
- 16After the circuit board, turn right. In the far corner, there's likely a mimic. Past that is the exit with two explosive containers. Deal with the mimic (or shoot the canisters). Nearby, you'll find Used Plastic Tubing and Frayed Wire x2.
- 17Locate the exit maintenance hatch. Open it and enter the next area.
- 18(-NOTE-) If you have a working TURRET, consider ignoring this path for now and using the front entrance to the Machine Shop. This room contains two Phantoms and two Flame Operators, and a turret can be helpful.
- 19Machine Shop: You should be outside a vent on a duct. Quicksave here. Go left, following the duct upwards.
- 20Jump onto the girder above the orange cable car.
- 21Past the cable car, to the left, you'll find a hideout on the ceiling. Use the pipes to reach it and collect a Huntress Boltсaster, Lexifоam Bolts x3, Old Sardar Bourbon x2, and the Clive Was Here Note.
- 22Quicksave again and return to the orange cable car. It's tricky to land on; use the climb mask (X) if needed. On top, you'll find "Peter Coleman's Corpse" with a Broken Cooler Fan, an EMP Charge, and a Neuromod. Down below is a supply crate with Biohazard Waste, a Medkit, and an Expired Plasma Bag.
- 23Find the other cable car in the area. Drop to the floor and deal with three mimics and an Operator in the back area. Repair the broken turret by the airlock if desired.
- 24Head to the cable car in the back. You can climb onto it from the area to its left.
- 25On top of the cable car, you'll find EMP Charge x2 and "Franklin Goode's Corpse". Loot him for a Burnt Circuit Board, Spare Parts, and another EMP Charge.
- 26Jump to the upper work-area across from the cable car. Here you'll find a recycler and a fabricator.
- 27On the floor by a workstation, find Synthetic Material 1.0, Organic Material 2.0, and Mineral Material 2.0.
- 28On the desk, find the Artax Propulsion System Fabrication Plan. You'll also find the Transtar Uniform Guide.
- 29Check the computer for two new emails.
Tips
- The "Leverage I" ability is recommended for accessing certain areas via maintenance shafts.
- Consider using a turret if you have one available when entering the Machine Shop, as it contains multiple dangerous enemies.
