Part 34

Prey (2017) Part 34: Harvest Dr. Howard's Superfruit, explore Crew Quarters for loot, and tackle the Cafeteria.

Head back to the sprinkler system. Insert the growth formula and wait approximately 10 minutes in real time for Dr. Howard's Superfruit to grow. This superfruit heals all HP and PSI points.

While waiting, go down the steps, take a right, then another right to the "Crew Quarters" entrance. Inside the lobby, find a [_GLOO GUN_] to the right. In the area are two supply crates containing [_BIG BANG CANDY_], [_SUNBURST BANANA_], [_SKYKING POMEGRANATE_], [_SUN-DRIED TOMATO JERKY_], [_MOONSHADE LEMON_], and [_CRISPY FRITES_]. The lockers in the security station contain [_9MM BULLETS x8_], [_Q-BEAM CELLS x45_], [_CRUMPLED PAPER_], [_FLEXIFOAM BOLTS_], and another [_HYPO FABRICATION PLAN_]. You can also find [_BIG BANG CANDY_], a [_WEAPON UPGRADE KIT_], and the "And The West Stood Tall" book in the office.

Enter "Storage Room A2" across from the security station. Kill the phantom inside and loot the room for [_AGAVE PLANT CLIPPINGS x7_], [_CALADIUM PLANT STEMS_], [_COSMOS FLOWER CUTTINGS x4_], [_TULIP FLOWER CUTTINGS_], [_NEUROMOD x2_], a [_MEDKIT_], [_KINGS & WAY SPARKLING WINE_], [_METHUSELAH APPLE_], [_PSI HYPO_], a [_SHOTGUN_], and [_SHOTGUN SHELLS x3_].

Exit and continue to the Crew Quarters area. On the way, collect [_SKYKING POMEGRANATE x6_] from trees and [_COSMOS FLOWER CUTTINGS x3_] from the left side. "Lizzy Colton's Corpse" has a [_SHOTGUN_], [_SHOTGUN SHELLS x3_], and the [_SHOTGUN SHELLS FABRICATION PLAN_]. Behind the center decorative feature, find [_RUSSIAN BLINIS x2_] and a [_PSI HYPO_]. Suitcases by the exit contain [_SUNBURST BANANA PUDDING_], [_9MM BULLETS x8_], and [_OLD SARDAR BOURBON_].

Warning: Perform a HARD SAVE and refill shotgun ammo before entering "Crew Quarters".

As you enter "Crew Quarters", go into stealth and hide behind the left pillar. A NIGHTMARE TYPHON may spawn here depending on the number of Neuromods you have taken. If it appears, lure it to the starting area, use Combat Focus, and attack with shotgun shells.

You will be jostled by someone calling you out, initiating the objective: Investigate the Cafeteria.

Follow a mind-controlled human to the right. Grab the [_USED CIGAR_] and [_LEMON PEEL x2_] from trashcans along the way. Do not focus on looting yet.

In the Cafeteria area, loot "Patricia Wang's" corpse for [_9MM BULLET x4_], [_SUIT REPAIR KIT_], [_DISRUPTOR BATTERIES x25_], and a [_DISRUPTOR STUN GUN_]. Find [_CRUMPLED PAPER_], a [_USED CIGAR_] in the trash, and [_CALADIUM PLANT STEMS x6_] on the sides.

Warning: A TELEPATH and numerous mind-controlled enemies are further in the cafeteria. SAVE before proceeding.

Wait for the telepath to approach the dividing wall. Use a sneak attack or rush it with the shotgun and Combat Focus to defeat it before the humans interfere. Reload if necessary.

After defeating the telepath and the humans drop down, SAVE. Head right to meet the cook and accept the objective: Search the Cook's Room for his Award.

You will receive the [_WILL MITCHELL'S CABIN KEYCARD_]. Before looting, SAVE and act as if you are leaving the cafeteria, as two more mind-controlled humans will attempt to enter.
