Part 8

Your Prey (2017) Part 8 walkthrough continues! Discover loot in the Trauma Center, brave the Restrooms, and find the Shotgun in Sarah Elazar's office.

Alright, let's dive into Part 8! We're going to be exploring a few key areas, grabbing some much-needed supplies, and even finding a powerful new weapon. Stick with me, and you'll be well-equipped.

First up, let's check out that red-carpet area. You'll find some [_COSMOS FLOWER CUTTINGS x2_], a [_BANANA PEEL_], a [_USED CIGAR_], and some [_UDON NOODLES_]. A little bit of everything!

Now, let's head down to the middle lower area. You might notice a moving object – that's a turret, and it's currently set to take down enemies. You can test this out by luring a Mimic near the counter. Once it spawns, head towards the turret and watch it do the work for you! While you're in this middle area, don't forget to check the edges for more flora: you can grab [_COSMOS FLOWER CUTTINGS x9_] and [_TULIP FLOWER CUTTINGS x6_]. Some are hidden near stairs, so keep an eye out!

If you approach the "Main Lift" in the center, January will call. He's investigating why it's not working. To the left of the turret, there's a trashcan containing a [_BASEBALL GLOVE_] and [_CRUMPLED PAPER_].

Time for some important items! The middle counter area holds a [_MEDKIT_], some [_SISKAK UNAGI ROLLZ_], and most importantly, the [_TRAUMA CENTER_] keycard! You'll also find the body of "Bianca Goodwin" near some luggage. Loot her for [_JELLIED EELS_] and [_BIOHAZARD WASTE_]. Now, let's head towards the "Shuttle Bay" area. You'll find "Jason Chang's Corpse" with another [_BASEBALL GLOVE_], and some [_COSMOS FLOWER CUTTINGS_] to the left. Further in, "Mischa Lazarev's Corpse" has a [_BURNT CIRCUIT BOARD_] and [_SPARE PARTS_].

You'll see a large locked door here with "No Oxygen" signs – we're not ready for that yet. However, the teller windows nearby are worth checking. Duck down by the left window and aim carefully to grab a [_WEAPON UPGRADE KIT_]. Score! The right teller window has a note titled "[_CHARACTER NAME: CAPTAIN STABFELLOW_]".

Head back and go up the stairs, then take the next set of stairs up. Explore the red-carpet area on this side for a [_LEMON PEEL_], [_KAFE KARSK_], and some [_SUN-DRIED TOMATO JERKY_]. Continue past the stairs to a trashcan for another [_USED CIGAR_], and check nearby plants for [_COSMOS FLOWER CUTTINGS_] and [_TULIP FLOWER CUTTINGS x2_]. To the left, you'll find a hallway with doors to "Employee Orientation" and "Psychotronics Staff Only" – the latter is busted. There's a suitcase with a [_MEDKIT_] in it. Ignore these doors for now and head back towards the bathrooms on the left.

The Restrooms

This area is pretty straightforward, and the game will auto-save here. Let's start with the Men's Restroom. The trashcan contains [_CRUMPLED PAPER_] and a [_USED CIGAR_], and there's a [_MEDKIT_] out in the open. Be ready, though – as you enter, two Mimics will attack! Take them down. Inside one of the stalls, you'll find a note called "The Space Elevator" which you should read.

Now, head to the Woman's Restroom. It's a bit creepier in here, but you can find [_AGAVE PLANT CLIPPINGS_], plus [_CRUMPLED PAPER_] and a [_BANANA PEEL_] in the trash can. Once you've got those, leave the restrooms and hang a right, heading down the hallway to "Employee Orientation".

This room doesn't have much of value, mostly just Mimics. Enter slowly, letting one drop down so you can use the door to help defeat it. You might encounter another Mimic in the hallway behind you, so stay alert! As you enter the main room, two more Mimics will attack from the right. Use the desks for cover and try to bait them into jumping so you can land some easy hits.

Once they're dealt with, you'll find there's not much else of worth in this room, besides enemy drops. You might also get a "Suit Integrity" warning if your suit takes damage – use a suit repair item to fix it, as your suit acts as your armor.

Exit through the other door back to the lobby, then go right to a trashcan for a [_USED CIGAR_] if you missed it earlier. We're heading to a secret area now! Go southwest towards the "Security" area, past the lower area and near the tool cart. This hallway is a dead-end with a locked door, but if you climb the large yellow pipe on the left, you can reach a vent that drops you into Sarah Elazar's office! Inside, you'll find a lot of goodies. First, check her emails: [_EMAIL 22: NEED SECURITY ESCORT_], [_EMAIL 23: SOMETHING'S ON THE STATION_], [_EMAIL 24: ILYUSHIN_], and [_EMAIL 25: MISSING KEYCARD_].

Now for the loot! Read the "The Orit" book, grab the [_SHOTGUN SHELLS x3_], and then the [_SHOTGUN_]! Yes, we finally have a Shotgun!

(Note: I used my two Weapon Upgrade Kits here, one on the Shotgun for damage and one on the Stun Gun for power. This also really helped with inventory space.)

Grab the [_HOLDING ROOM_] note from the lamp – it has a door code. Turn around 180 degrees for the "Survivor's Account of 'The Evacuation' Day 2" note. There's a safe here. The hint to open it is in "The Orit" book, specifically "Judges 5:26". Enter 0526 into the Security Station safe. Inside, you'll find the [_SHOTGUN SHELLS FABRICATION PLAN_] and a [_RECYCLER CHARGE_].
