Follow our guide to navigate the Cargo Bay, find hidden loot, and interact with survivors in Prey (2017) Part 44. Don't miss any crucial items or objectives!

Alright, let's push forward in Prey. As you head down the hallway, keep an eye on that raised platform to your left. You'll find Diane Washington's Corpse there, and she's got some useful goodies: 2x Frayed Wire, Spare Parts, and a Wrench. Grab 'em and then continue down the hall. You'll need to climb the shelves on the right – there's a Corroded Coil up there. Be ready to jump past some fire; unfortunately, your Gloo Gun won't help with this particular blaze.

In the next section, check the shelves on the left. You'll find another Corroded Coil and 1.0 Synthetic Material. There's also a toolbox with 2x Corroded Coil and Gus Magill's Corpse. He's carrying Frayed Wire, an EMP Charge, the Reployer Note, Crispy Frites, and the Transcribe: Gus Magill audio log. You'll also find a Medkit near him. That audio log is definitely worth a listen!

Keep moving past the second fire spout, and steel yourself for a Greater Mimic waiting in the doorway. Now, about those shelves – they actually go up higher than just two levels. You can use your Gloo Gun to climb them, or even shoot the fire pipe to get higher. Explore this area thoroughly; you'll find a Spare Part, Frayed Wire, and a Corroded Coil scattered across the different levels. Oh, and watch out for that 'Corroded Pipe' – don't let it hit you! You can use your Gloo Gun to seal it shut.

Once you're done exploring, it's time to enter the next room: Cargo Power Control. Grab the Burnt Circuit Board right in front of you. Head around the corner for some Frayed Wire. You'll find a console here that lets you restore power. This will open the nearby door, leading you into the Cargo Bay.

Exit that room and look to your right for another console. Use it to raise all the lifts. Now's a good time to hit up the recycler and fabricator if you need them – I know I did! Head left towards the main walkway and jump up to the lifts on the left side.

With the lifts raised, you can now open up the cargo containers. Explore each one on this left side to find 4x Spare Parts, Used Plastic Tubing, a Typhon Lure, and a Weapon Upgrade Kit. You'll also spot a closed turret here.

Note: Make sure to use the fabricator to craft 'Morgan's Arming Key'. You can also craft TURRETS now, so consider fortifying this lower area if you feel the need.

Now, let's get up to that catwalk. You have a couple of options. One way is to use a PC near the recycler that raises a container. You can then hop on that container and ride it up. Alternatively, you can go past the 'Power Control' room, head to the right-hand corner, climb a stack of crates, and use those to reach higher ground, jumping from strut to strut until you reach the catwalk. The choice is yours!

Once you're on the catwalk, enter the room ahead. Surprise! Actual living people! This is pretty rare. Go chat with Dr. Igwe to wrap up his side quest. He'll thank you with a Neuromod. Rani Chaudhary (if you saved her from the garden) and Ekaterina Mulsaev are also here, so feel free to have a word with them.

Note: There's a SMUGGLING RING LOCATION in this room! The Alarm Panel on the far wall, to your right, is a hidden point. Smack it three times to reveal it, giving you access to a Weapon Kit Fabrication Plan, a Neuromod, and an EMP Charge.

  • OBJECTIVE (Talos Smuggling Ring): Find three more Drop Points around Talos and recover the stolen goods hidden in them.

After that, it's time to do some looting. On one table, you'll find a ton of food supplies. Technically, this is meant for the survivors (there's a 'Food & Supplies Note' confirming this), but hey, it's a treasure trove: 3x Udon Noodles, 5x Sisskak Unagi Rollz, 2x Random Dim Sum, 2x Sunburst Banana, 2x Skyking Pomegranate, Ossetra Caviar, Jellied Eels, Veggie Blend, Spiralite Cookies, and Captain Spree's Fish Sticks.

I actually left all this food for them myself, as I had more than enough from the garden area. The other desk holds the 'Accident Report Note', a Wrench, the book
