The quest becomes available after leaving the Ebon Hawk on Dantooine, following the mention of the Mandalorian War's end.

An old comrade of Canderous named Jagi, who served under him, is angry because Canderous sent his unit on a suicidal mission for personal glory. Jagi has survived and has been searching for Canderous to challenge him to a duel in the Dune Sea on Tatooine. He has also alerted other Mandalorians in the sector to ensure Canderous cannot refuse the duel.

Canderous is willing to accept the challenge and is confident in his victory.

Travel to Tatooine and head to the east side of the sand crawler in the Dune Sea to trigger Jagi's appearance with two Rhodian thugs. Jagi claims he anticipated Canderous needing help and brought friends to provide a distraction.

You can choose to persuade Jagi to understand Canderous's actions. If successful, Jagi will kill himself to atone for insulting Canderous.

The Rhodian thugs can still be killed, and Jagi's death grants experience points whether he kills himself or you kill him.

The quest is confirmed to end when Jagi kills himself, though this might be a game glitch.

If you approach the encounter zone from the Anchorhead side of the sand crawler and choose combat options, you may not be close enough to trigger the fight immediately. In this scenario, you can talk to Canderous, and he will act as if the quest is already completed.
