The Alpha Strider is the first major boss you'll encounter in Strinova, serving as a significant skill check for new players. This heavily armored bipedal mech is encountered at the end of the "Ironclad Gauntlet" mission. While its attacks are predictable, its high health pool and devastating close-range capabilities demand precise movement and efficient damage output.

Your primary objective is to exploit its exposed power core, located on its back. The Alpha Strider has two main attack patterns: a rapid-fire machine gun burst and a powerful ground slam. The machine gun burst is easily dodged by strafing, but the ground slam creates a shockwave that requires a well-timed jump or dash to avoid. After each ground slam, the Alpha Strider will briefly expose its back as it recovers. This is your window to deal significant damage. Utilize your primary weapon's alt-fire for burst damage during these openings. Consider using the "Kinetic Pulse" ability to briefly stun it, creating a longer window for attack. Focus fire on the glowing core, and remember to keep your distance when it's facing you.
