Strinova offers several PvE modes designed to test your combat skills against the game's formidable AI-controlled enemies and challenging environmental hazards. These modes are perfect for honing your loadouts, practicing new strategies, and earning valuable resources without the pressure of direct player competition.

Incursion Missions

Incursion Missions are your primary gateway to PvE content. These dynamic scenarios pit you against waves of increasingly difficult enemies, often with specific objectives to complete before extraction. Success hinges on teamwork, resource management, and adapting to evolving threats.

Key Strategies for Incursion Missions:

• Loadout Specialization: Tailor your weapon and gear choices to the expected enemy types. For heavily armored foes, consider high-caliber rifles like the "Annihilator" Assault Rifle. Against swarming, weaker enemies, shotguns or SMGs like the "Stinger" SMG excel.
• Objective Prioritization: Always be aware of the primary objective. Whether it's defending a point, escorting a payload, or eliminating a high-value target, focus your efforts there. Secondary objectives can provide bonus rewards but shouldn't compromise the main goal.
• Resource Management: Ammunition and healing items, such as "Med-Kits" and "Ammo Packs," are finite. Conserve them by aiming for headshots and using cover effectively. Communicate with your squad to share resources.
• Environmental Awareness: Pay attention to the environment. Explosive barrels, elevated positions, and choke points can be used to your advantage. Conversely, avoid open areas that expose you to enemy fire.

Extraction Zones

Extraction Zones are high-risk, high-reward PvE encounters where you must secure valuable intel or artifacts while fending off relentless enemy assaults. The longer you stay, the more intense the enemy presence becomes.

Tips for Surviving Extraction Zones:

• Secure a Defensible Position: Upon entering an Extraction Zone, immediately identify a strong defensive position. Look for areas with limited entry points and good sightlines, such as the "Old Power Station" or the "Warehouse District."
• Prioritize Enemy Threats: Identify and eliminate priority targets first. These often include specialized units like "Siege Tanks" or "Sniper Units" that can quickly overwhelm your position.
• use Deployable Cover: Deployable items like the "Ballistic Shield" or "Automated Turrets" can significantly bolster your defenses. Place them strategically to cover flanks or reinforce chokepoints.
• Know When to Extract: Don't get greedy. Once you've secured the objective and gathered sufficient loot, prioritize extraction. The extraction vehicle or point will be marked on your HUD.

Boss Encounters

Strinova features challenging Boss Encounters that serve as climactic challenges within specific PvE zones. These unique enemies possess distinct attack patterns, weaknesses, and immense power.

Conquering Bosses:

• Study Attack Patterns: Observe the boss's movements and attacks. Most bosses have telegraphs that indicate their next move, giving you a window to dodge or counter. For example, the "Colossus" boss in the "Ruined City" will often rear back before unleashing a devastating ground slam.
• Exploit Weak Points: Bosses often have specific weak points, usually glowing or differently colored areas. Focusing fire on these points will deal significantly more damage. The "Venom Lord" boss in the "Swampy Mire" has exposed sacs on its back that are critical hit locations.
• Manage Crowd Control: Bosses often summon smaller adds to distract and overwhelm you. Prioritize clearing these adds to maintain focus on the boss.
• Coordinate with Teammates: If playing in a squad, coordinate your attacks. Designate roles, such as who will draw the boss's aggro or who will focus on clearing adds.
