Your primary objectives here involve locating a series of ancient power conduits, essential for disabling the fortress's outer defenses. Expect to encounter specialized cryo-enhanced enemies, whose attacks can slow and freeze you, making precise movement and quick reflexes paramount. Resource management, particularly for thermal packs and anti-freeze serums, will be key to your survival in this harsh environment.

Environmental Hazards & Survival

The Frozen Wastes are as dangerous as they are beautiful. The constant blizzard conditions significantly reduce visibility, making long-range engagements difficult. Prioritize close-quarters combat or utilize thermal scopes if available. Watch out for patches of black ice, especially on elevated walkways and near frozen waterfalls; these can cause you to slip, leaving you vulnerable to enemy attacks or environmental damage.
