The Guardian Automaton is the third and final boss of Act 1, encountered within the ancient, crumbling ruins of the "Forgotten Sanctuary" mission. This imposing, heavily armed robotic sentinel acts as a final gatekeeper, testing your mastery of movement, cover, and precise targeting. Unlike the previous two bosses, the Guardian Automaton emphasizes environmental awareness and sustained damage output over burst potential.

Its primary attack is a rapid-fire energy cannon that deals moderate damage but can quickly deplete your shields if you remain exposed. It also possesses a devastating ground slam ability that generates a shockwave, forcing you to jump or dash to avoid damage. The key to defeating the Guardian Automaton lies in exploiting its predictable attack patterns and the environmental hazards of the arena.

• Phase 1 Strategy: During its initial phase, the Automaton will patrol a circular path, firing its energy cannon. Utilize the numerous pillars and broken walls for cover. Focus fire on its glowing red core, located on its chest. After taking significant damage, it will occasionally charge a ground slam. When you see it wind up, dash or jump over the shockwave.
• Phase 2 Strategy: Once its health drops below 50%, the Automaton will activate two small, flying drones that harass you with weak laser fire. Prioritize destroying these drones immediately, as they can become a nuisance during the main fight. The Automaton will also begin to deploy proximity mines. Shoot these mines from a distance to detonate them safely, or bait the Automaton into its own minefields for extra damage.
• Recommended Weaponry: A high-damage assault rifle or a precision marksman rifle is ideal for consistently hitting its core. Consider bringing a shotgun for quick drone disposal if they get too close.
• Environmental Advantage: The arena features several explosive barrels. Lure the Automaton near these barrels and detonate them for significant bonus damage.
