Pipe Path Tower

Make the Lighthouse Shine Cat Shine: Start the island and enter the first clear pipe. Navigate the pipe maze, holding the analog stick in the direction you want to turn. Head right to the next area. Move past the two Fire Bros and enter the next pipe section. Time your crossing to avoid fireballs from the two Fire Bros. Enter the next area, pass the Shard, and navigate to the other hole to avoid spike balls. Hit the POW Block to destroy the spike balls. In the next pipe section, jump out of the northern pipes to hit another POW Block, destroying all spike balls. Enter the clear pipe which leads to a cannon. Use the cannon to reach the top of the tower and collect the Cat Shine.

Blue Coin Bustle Cat Shine: This Shine requires collecting blue coins within the pipe maze. You must be quick as they disappear.

• First Section: Go left, take the shortcut by holding down. Emerge, go up, then left.

Second Section: Follow the path laid out.

Third Section: After the second set of blue coins, go south for more. Go left, then up.

Fourth Section: In the loop, collect the bottom coins first, use the middle shortcut, then collect the remaining coins on the left.

Final Section: Go straight left, then up at the second pipe to collect coins. Quickly re-enter and go left to collect the final coins in the loop.

Key to the Cat Shine: The key is in the last pipe section, near the top. You can use Propeller Blocks near the entrance to reach it quickly, or navigate the pipes to the top and drop down. Clear the Fire Bros on top of the pipes in the first section before starting, as they can be a nuisance. Once you have the key, use the Tanooki Suit to float down to the pipes near the beginning to return it to the cage. If you don't have the Tanooki Suit, you'll need to backtrack the long way.

Five Cat Shine Shards Cat Shine: Collect the scattered Cat Shine Shards throughout the level. The first shard is in the central underwater exit of the first set of pipes.
