After you complete a mission, you'll get a few bonus weapons – usually 4 or 5, and often a mix of 1 to 3 different types. These weapons have names ending in 'R', and some folks call them 'Royal' weapons. They're pretty neat because they get stronger as you progress through the game (think 1R, then 3R, and eventually up to 20R!). The catch is, they're randomly assigned each time. What you can do is save your game right before you head to the Audience Hall, and if you don't like the selection you get, you can reload and try for a different set. These Royal weapons are often a bit better than what you can build yourself, especially later in the game. Early on, though, they might not be exactly what you want, so keep an eye on their stats to see if they're a good fit for your current needs.

Besides weapons, the Audience Hall is also where you'll get medals for achieving special in-game feats. Honestly, these medals are mostly for bragging rights – they don't unlock anything or give you any tangible benefits, and they're not tied to PS3 trophies or anything like that. Some might seem related to Steam achievements, but don't expect any gameplay advantages from them.

One important thing to remember about the 'reset trick' for getting specific rewards: it only works the very first time you visit your headquarters. So, if you check out the Audience Hall and then save, you can't go back and try to reset the rewards later. You'll need to be happy with whatever you get when you first access it after a mission, or be prepared to reload an earlier save if you're aiming for something specific.
