Guide to leveling zones in World of Warcraft: Midnight, including Alliance and Horde recommendations and Death Knight unlock.

Alliance Leveling Recommendations:

• Levels 1-6: Starting area.
• Levels 6-20: Two second zones available, with the option to mix and match by visiting another race's city zone.
• Levels 20-30: Finish second zone, then move to contested territories shared by Horde and Alliance.
• Levels 30-40: Stranglethorn Vale and areas below it, or Arathi and its neighbors.
• Levels 40-50: Finish Stranglethorn Vale, then proceed to Searing Gorge or areas near Tanaris.
• Levels 50-55: Tanaris, some Azshara quests, Un'Goro Crater, or Searing Gorge. Felwood and Burning Steppes are also options.
• Levels 55-58: Winterspring and Felwood quests for Timbermaw, Alterac Valley quests and XP, some easy quests in Western Plaguelands, or finishing in Eastern Plaguelands or with Alterac Valley matches.
• Note: If you are not a rogue or warlock, feel free to level in the Draenei zones. Rogues can go to Darnassus every other level.

Horde Leveling Recommendations:

• Levels 1-6: Starting area.

• Levels 20-30: Finish second zone, then move to contested territories shared by Horde and Alliance.
• Levels 30-40: Stranglethorn Vale and areas below it, or Arathi and its neighbors.

General Leveling Progression:

1. Levels 1-6: All done in your starting area.

4. Levels 30-40: Stranglethorn Vale and the areas lower than it, or Arathi and its neighbors.
5. Levels 40-50: Finish Stranglethorn Vale, then go to Searing Gorge or areas near Tanaris.
