Alright, let's talk about Talents in World of Warcraft: Midnight! Once you hit level 10, you'll see a new icon on your action bar – that's your gateway to customizing your character. For every level you gain from now on, you'll get a talent point to spend. Think of these points as your way to really shape how your character plays, specializing them in different areas.

Every class gets three distinct talent trees. The idea is that each tree pushes your character towards a specific playstyle or role. Since you start at level 10 and can go all the way to 80, you'll have a total of 70 talent points to distribute. It’s worth noting that the original end-game talents used to cap out at 40 points, so now you have way more flexibility to get a solid end-game skill set while still dipping into other trees. New, higher-level talents have been added to each tree too, so you can still reach the very end of any of them. It's totally up to you whether you want to max out one tree or spread your points around to grab a bit of everything.

For instance, as a Rogue, you might start by investing in the stealth tree, then move over to combat, and only put a few points into the finishing move tree. A Death Knight, on the other hand, could put over 30 points into Blood, 10 into Unholy, and the rest into Frost, with a plan to focus heavily on Blood while maybe snagging that ghoul ability from Unholy. As for a Hunter, you could dump all your points into Marksmanship, perhaps with just a couple of points in another tree (but not the very first one).

Some of these talent trees actually unlock brand-new abilities for your character, and most talents come with different ranks. Usually, to get the full 100% effect, or at least the best version of a talent, you'll need to invest multiple points into it.
