Old Kingdom

Master the Old Kingdom dungeon in World of Warcraft: Midnight. Learn strategies for Nadox, Prince Taldram, Jedoga, Amanitar, and Herald Volazj to overcome its challenges.

The Old Kingdom, located right next to AN in Dragonblight, is one of the final dungeons players will tackle. While the trash mobs can be managed by carefully watching aggro ranges, the dungeon's high difficulty rating stems from its five bosses.

Boss Strategies:

1. Nadox: This fight is a DPS check. Nadox summons adds that can initially be ignored. However, when a guardian spawns, Nadox and the adds become immune to damage. The strategy is to quickly defeat a few adds before the immunity phase, then focus all damage on the guardian. Once the guardian is down, resume attacking Nadox. Prioritize pulling adds off the healer and eliminating them swiftly.
2. Prince Taldram: Be mindful of two mechanics: flame spheres and drain. Three spheres move across the platform; evade them by moving as far away as possible. When Taldram drains a player's health, the only way to free them is to DPS the boss. It is recommended to stack up when Taldram vanishes, as healing the drained player is impossible during this phase.
3. Jedoga: To counter her enrage mechanic from eating a sacrificed minion, players have two options. The first is a DPS race to kill the chosen minion before it reaches the center; use aggressive pet stances and AoE abilities. The second option involves doing what you can, but if the minion is eaten, spread out around the platform and attempt to taunt Jedoga to allow the enrage buff to wear off naturally. Disarming her during this phase is also possible.
4. Amanitar: Found in the left area of Jedoga's room. Players can AoE a tanking area of mushrooms, ensuring a few healthy ones remain. The tank must watch for the 'Mini' debuff and then kill a healthy mushroom. Poisonous mushrooms should be avoided, but consuming a healthy mushroom grants a 100% increased damage buff.
5. Herald Volazj: The primary challenge is surviving the 'Insanity' spell. To increase survival chances, consider having only one healing class in the group, unequipping weapons before the spell, sending a player to die first, or casting damage-reducing spells for your clone to inherit. After these preparations, stun and DPS the healer clone first, then proceed down the DPS priority list, and finally, defeat the tank clone.
