Learn the optimal talent progression in World of Warcraft: Midnight, starting with Beast Mastery and transitioning to Survival at level 70.

Beast Mastery is the recommended talent specialization for leveling in World of Warcraft: Midnight. Your pet can tank and maintain threat (aggro) off you effectively, allowing for easier progression without needing to constantly reposition. While not the highest damage per second (dps) spec at level 80, it ensures a smooth leveling experience.

Survival is the best talent specialization for players at level 80 who are not yet geared from Ulduar. It is also a strong choice for player versus player (pvp) combat and is recommended once you acquire Misdirection. This tree offers an additional crowd control (CC) shot, Black Arrow (which shares cooldowns with fire traps), and the powerful Explosive Shot. It is a very strong talent tree for late-game content, making it a good choice to respec into at level 70.

Marksmanship offers the highest dps in World of Warcraft: Midnight but requires significant micromanagement of all your cooldowns. This complexity is why Survival is considered an easier tree to start raiding with. Be cautious when progressing through the Marksmanship tree, as it contains several less optimal talents.
