Learn how to gain reputation with factions in World of Warcraft: Midnight, including tabard usage, daily quests, emblem spending, and specific faction benefits.

There are many factions throughout World of Warcraft: Midnight with which you can raise your reputation. Most factions require you to kill enemies to increase your standing. However, in Northrend, there are three primary methods to gain reputation: wearing a faction's tabard and completing heroic dungeons, undertaking their daily quests, or purchasing faction tokens from the emblem quartermaster in Dalaran using emblems.

It is generally advised to only spend emblems on faction tokens after acquiring all other items of value, and only as a last resort.

There are four main factions in Northrend that offer tabards:

1. Kirin Tor: Quartermaster located in Violet Hold, within Dalaran.
2. Argent Crusade: Quartermaster situated in their base in southeastern Icecrown, north of Dalaran, near the flight master.
3. Wyrmrest Accord: Quartermaster found at the top of the temple in Dragonblight.
4. Ebon Hold: Requires completing a quest chain to make the Shadow Vault in Icecrown a friendly location before the quartermaster becomes accessible.

By obtaining a faction's tabard and completing their daily quests, you can achieve exalted rank with them in a reasonable amount of time. It is recommended to review the goods offered by each faction to identify the most beneficial items. Many players prioritize the Wyrmrest Accord first due to the availability of a mount.

Additionally, several other factions offer various quests and methods for gaining reputation:

• Kalu'ak: Quartermasters are located in Moa'ki (Dragonblight) and Kamagua (Howling Fjord). They primarily offer a fishing pole and a pet.
• Alliance/Horde Groups: Earning reputation with these groups involves completing 80 dungeon kills without wearing a tabard. Their quartermasters are located in the Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra.
• Sons of Hodir: Lillehoff is located in Storm Peaks. This faction becomes accessible through quests that begin in K3.
• Oracles/Frenzyheart: These are two warring factions located in Scholozar Basin. It is possible to achieve exalted status with both, which rewards an achievement. If you must choose one, the Oracles are recommended as they provide an egg with a small chance to drop a temporary flying mount. Both factions offer a single exalted item: a trinket. For a weekly cost of 2 gold, reaching revered with either faction is worthwhile for the egg.

All factions in Northrend offer at least one epic item that is worth the effort. However, the usefulness of each faction may vary depending on your current gear and needs.
