Achievements

Learn about World of Warcraft achievements, titles like Jenkins and Ambassador, and how to earn the Black War Bear mount.

You can open the shield icon on your toolbar to see all the achievements in World of Warcraft. Most server-first achievements are removed, so only a few people will have certain titles. Achievements and titles can be tracked by shift-clicking them, similar to objectives (a specific task or goal within the game). Not all achievements within a set are required for some titles.

Titles:

• Holidays: Usually requires only a select few achievements for a specific holiday event, not all of them. Check your in-game calendar for upcoming holidays.
• Jenkins: This title originates from a popular YouTube video.
• the Explorer: Requires you to explore every listed location within a region. It is recommended to get all Azeroth locations while questing. For Outland, only Zangarmarsh can be explored without a flying mount (a type of aerial vehicle). Northrend requires cold weather flying for full exploration, with Scholazar Basin having one high-up spot, and Storm Peaks and Icecrown being almost entirely dependent on flight.
• Ambassador: This title is earned by raising your reputation (a measure of standing with a faction) with each of the five races within the four starting zones. Two races share a faction, so you only need to focus on four starting zones. If you reached level 60 in Azeroth, you likely have two factions maxed out. The others require minimal effort, such as completing quests in their starting zones, which may involve defeating low-level enemies.
• Patient: Earned by repeatedly using the random dungeon tool (an automated system to group players for dungeons).
• Black War Bear: This title is tied to the achievement "For the Alliance/Horde". It requires raiding each major city of the opposing faction and defeating their leader or boss (a powerful enemy). You need to know who and where these bosses are. Upon defeating all four bosses, you receive a free mount (a creature or vehicle used for faster travel) via in-game mail. It is possible to obtain this as your first swift mount by riding a motorcycle during the process.
