Walkthrough
- 1Levels 68-72: Travel to the Borean Tundra via the boat at the SW Harbor, or to the Howling Fjord using the boat at Menethil Harbor. Zeppelins may also be available at Orgrimmar and Undercity. Complete quests in both of these starter zones.
- 2Levels 72-74: Focus on Dragonblight, including quests related to Naxxramas and the Wrathgate.
- 3Levels 74-76: Progress through Zul'Drak, or begin with the Drakkuru quests in Grizzly Hills before moving to Zul'Drak.
- 4Levels 76-77: Venture into Sholazar Basin. You can optionally stay here until level 78.
- 5Level 78: Travel to Storm Peaks. Some quests are available on the ground, but Cold Weather Flying is required to progress further; otherwise, remain in Sholazar Basin. Alternatively, gain experience through battlegrounds using crafted blue PvP gear, which also helps earn honor for level 80 PvP gear.
- 6Levels 79-80: Complete quests in Storm Peaks and Icecrown, which are accessible via flight paths. Some acquired blue items will be sufficient for starting gear at level 80.
Tips
- As of the latest patch, Alterac Valley still provides a good amount of experience points, making it a viable option for PvP enthusiasts, though less than the initial Battleground XP.
