Talents

Begin with the Beast Mastery talent tree for leveling in World of Warcraft. Your pet can tank and maintain threat (aggro) effectively, allowing you to level with ease without needing to constantly reposition. Recommended pets include gorillas and devilsaurs. While not the highest damage per second (dps) spec at level 80, it offers a smooth leveling experience.

At level 70, respec into the Survival talent tree. This spec is excellent for players not yet equipped with Ulduar raid gear and is also strong for player versus player (pvp). Key abilities gained include an extra crowd control (CC) shot and Black Arrow, which shares cooldowns with fire traps. Explosive Shot is another powerful ability in this tree.

Once you are geared at level 80, transition to the Marksmanship talent tree. This is the highest dps spec in World of Warcraft but requires careful management of all your cooldowns. Due to this complexity, Survival is often considered an easier talent tree to start raiding with. Be mindful of less optimal talents within the Marksmanship tree as you progress.
