Hey there! So you're looking to get your Rogue into some serious PvE action, huh? Awesome! When it comes to raiding and heroics, there are two main paths you'll want to consider: Mutilate Daggers and Combat Spec. Both are super viable, but they play a bit differently.

No matter which you choose, you'll definitely want to grab some core talents that are just essential. Think of these as your bread-and-butter: Malice, Ruthlessness, Blood Spatter, Lethality, Dual Wield Spec, and Relentless Strikes. These talents really boost your damage and survivability.

Now, if you're just starting out or leveling up, Combat is generally the smoother ride. Mutilate just isn't a thing while you're leveling, so you'll be relying on Eviscerate a lot. Plus, the Combat tree has some sweet avoidance talents that are fantastic for when you're out there soloing stuff. It gives you a bit more breathing room.

Quick Note on Poisons: Poisons are a Rogue's best friend, so let's talk about them! For PvE, you're mainly looking at Instant Poison for your main hand and Deadly Poison for your off-hand. While Wound Poison is a DoT and can be good against bosses at level 80 for that extra tick of damage, leveling with Instant Poison will get you faster kills overall. Forget about Mind-numbing Poison; it's generally not worth it. The rage-generating one? It's niche at best, and you won't find many situations where it's truly necessary.
