How to Defeat Bahamut Fury:

Bahamut Fury has a large amount of HP and its Exaflare attack can inflict significant damage. It is recommended to have Wall and Curaga equipped. Magic attack spells, except for non-elemental ones, are resisted. Maximize your HP and consider using accessories that boost VIT and SPR, such as Aegis Armlets, Shinra Betas, and Tarot Cards. Breaking the HP limit with an accessory is also beneficial.

Tips
  • Cast Wall at the start of the battle and maintain it throughout.
  • Close the distance to Bahamut Fury and use attack combos.
  • Keep your HP topped up and use Ethers if necessary.
  • Abilities like Jump, Gil Toss, and Costly Punch can be effective, but regular attack combos also allow for quick dodges.
  • Dodge Bahamut Fury's Swipe attack (four hits) by dodging through it.
  • For Cluster Sphere, back away when you see the name appear to give yourself more time to dodge the three orbs fired in a fork pattern.
  • To avoid Judgment of Light, wait for the large orb to approach and then dodge to the side.
  • Retreat from Bahamut Fury to avoid the AoE explosions from Hexafang's mines.
  • Dash back a short distance to easily avoid Black Hole, Bahamut Fury's gravity attack.
  • Guard when you see Flare appear, as it has a long wind-up and covers a massive AoE.
  • For the ultimate attack, Exaflare, aim for at least 75% Ability % and ensure you have max HP and Wall active to mitigate damage. Exaflare also drains AP and MP, so be prepared to restore them with Ethers, Somas, or Elixirs.
  • The DMW can help speed up the fight; Cisnei's Lucky Stars is particularly useful for constant Criticals.
