Alright, so you're looking to snag the Gravity Materia early in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion? Smart move! It's a super useful one. Here’s the lowdown on how to grab it without too much fuss.

First things first, you'll need to have progressed the main story a bit. Make sure you've reached Chapter 2. Once you've spoken with Tseng to push the story forward, there's a bunch of optional stuff you can dive into. When you exit the Briefing Room, Kunsel will have a quick chat with you and then you'll find yourself outside the Shinra Building in Sector 8. While there's a lot to explore here, to get Gravity Materia, we actually need to head back inside the building.

So, head back into the Shinra Building. Go up to the second floor. You'll see a couple of doors, but you want to head for the SOLDIER Floor. Don't worry about the prompt telling you to go back to the Briefing Room – we're on a mission! Find the save point on this floor, and right near it, you'll spot a room labeled Materia Room. Go on in and chat with the Researcher who has an orange exclamation mark over his head. He'll hook you up with a new set of missions, and the very first one you'll get is Mission 8-2-1.

Your goal here is to complete this mission, which will then unlock the next one in the series. Keep grinding through these missions until you reach Mission 8-2-5. Now, this one's a four-star mission, so it might feel a bit tough this early in Chapter 2. But hey, there's a Fira Materia waiting for you in one of the chests, and the enemies you face at the end are actually weak to fire, so it's a good warm-up! Clearing Mission 8-2-5 is what finally gets you the ATK Mako Stone as a reward, and completing that chain of missions is how you'll eventually get the Gravity Materia.
