Alright, so you're looking to get your hands on the Chocobo summon in Crisis Core Reunion? It's a pretty neat one to have! You won't be able to grab it right away, though. You'll need to push through the main story until you reach Chapter 3. Things get pretty wild around this point, with the Shinra Building and Midgar under attack. After all that action, you'll find yourself heading to Mako Reactor 5. There's a pretty long cutscene with Sephiroth that plays out, and once you finally regain control of Zack, keep an eye out for a side path with a ladder.

Go ahead and approach that ladder. Doing so will not only snag you a handy Mail item called Treasure Princess - Recruitment, but it'll also unlock Mission 8-4-1. This mission is part of a series that involves a certain ninja friend from Wutai – you know the one! Completing these missions is definitely worth it because the final one rewards you with the Darkness Materia, which is a seriously powerful attack.

Now, to get back to our main goal: the Chocobo summon. You only need to complete the very first mission in that chain, called Suspicious Mail 1. Knocking that one out will give you the Chocobo Feather key item. And guess what? That's exactly what you need to unlock the Chocobo Summon for your DMW!
