How to Unlock M10-1: Cactoid Secrets: To M10

Alright, so you're trying to get that Cactoid Summon in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, huh? Mission M10-1, called 'Cactoid Secrets', is a bit of a puzzle to unlock, but don't worry, I'll walk you through it. It's all about completing a couple of prerequisite missions first.

First things first, you'll need to reach Chapter 4 of the game. Once you're in Chapter 4 and have gone through the initial story bits, make your way to the save point located between the pews. When you get there, a bunch of new missions should pop up, including one called M3-1-3: Eliminate the Copies. That's your first target!

Jump into M3-1-3. It's a 2-star mission, so it's not too tough. Head north from the start until you hit an intersection. Take a right (east), and at the next intersection, keep going east. When you're forced to turn right (south), you'll spot a Kactuar chilling there. Now, this guy is pretty weak and mostly just hops around, maybe bumping into you for a little damage. The key thing here is don't dawdle! If you take too long, this Kactuar will bail, and you'll have to replay the mission to get the unlock. So, take it down quickly!

After you defeat the Kactuar, you'll still need to finish the mission by taking out a G-Eraser and two G-Avengers. Once you've cleared the whole mission, you should get a notification that M10-1-1 has been unlocked. Sweet!

Walkthrough for M10-1-1: Where’s the Cactuar?

Now that M10-1-1 is unlocked, you can tackle it whenever you're ready. It's also a 2-star mission. Your main enemies here will be Fly Eyes and Raijincho, which are pretty standard flying enemies. After you deal with them, you'll find another Kactuar waiting for you.

When you start M10-1-1, turn around (south). At the first fork, take a left (east). This leads to a dead end where you'll find a chest containing a Potion. Head back to the fork and go west this time. Another dead end awaits, but this one has a chest with an Elixir inside. Score!

With those chests looted, make your way to the northwestern part of the map. There you'll find the Kactuar. Defeat it, and you'll get a Muscle Belt as a reward for completing the mission. More importantly, beating this Kactuar unlocks M10-1-2. Keep going through the chain, and beating M10-1-2 will unlock M10-1-3, which finally leads to unlocking the full M10-1 mission chain and getting you closer to that Cactuar Summon!
