Boss: The Last Giant / Giant Lord

Lore:

• You'll find the Last Giant in the Forest of Fallen Giants. He's the sole survivor of the Cardinal Tower siege, a shadow of his former self. This guy was once the Giant Lord, a force of nature that brought the kingdom of Drangleic to its knees.
• Even though an unnamed hero eventually defeated the Giants, it was too late; Drangleic was already in ruins. After his defeat, the Giant Lord's remains were dragged beneath the stronghold and sealed away.
• Seasons passed, and the Giant prepared for his final rest. For Giants, death isn't an end, but a transformation into great trees, a part of a cycle of regeneration.
• However, the Giant Lord's soul remained incredibly powerful, a testament to his past might. It's speculated that the Giants' deep resentment for King Vendrick couldn't be pacified in death. Their burning hatred and unyielding wills fueled their rage, preventing them from forgiving Vendrick's wrongdoings.
• This intense hatred might be why the Giant Lord lingered for so long after his defeat, perhaps even directed at the warrior who bested him.
• When you finally face him, the Giant Lord recognizes you. His rage becomes uncontrollable, and he breaks free from his restraints. This final battle showcases the sheer determination of the race that once destroyed Drangleic.
