    Locate Laddersmith Gilligan in Earthen Peak after the second bonfire. He is found outside the building, behind a gate. You must run after him before the enemy closes the gate.

    After exhausting his dialogue or defeating Mytha, he will relocate to Majula.

    In Majula, he can be found seated on a rock next to the pit in the middle of town.
Tips
  • Laddersmith Gilligan sells ladders for 500, 3500, and 12,000 souls. The higher the purchase price, the longer the ladder will reach, allowing safer access down the pit.
  • Purchasing the most expensive ladder (the other two are not required) and using the 'Talk' command will reward you with a Melu Scimitar as a gift and unlock the 'Garrulous Miser' trophy/achievement.
