Heading to the Lost Bastille: (2)

Continue your journey to the Lost Bastille in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. This guide covers the path after defeating the Sentry, including key items and navigation.

Alright, you've dealt with that pesky Sentry! Now, let's push on towards the Lost Bastille. Head through the door right after the Sentry and you'll find a passage leading to a ladder at the very end. Climb that ladder, and before you move on, make sure to check the coffer in the corner of the room. Inside, you'll find a Fireball spell and the Pyromancy Flame – definitely grab those!

Now, look towards the far corner of the room. You'll notice a round object. Get a little closer, and a cut-scene will play. Once that's done, make your way down the pier. Veer left, then head into the corridor ahead. Keep going, and you'll enter the next room.

In this next room, you'll see a lift. Use it to ascend to the next floor. As soon as you arrive, look to your left. You'll see a few cells; the middle one holds some goodies: a Radiant Lifegem and a Soul of a Proud Knight. Snag those, then proceed through the door and up the stairs. Congratulations, you've officially made it into the Lost Bastille!
