    Find Carhillion on a side platform in No-Man's Wharf, before the ship where you fight the Flexile Sentry. He will not speak to you or sell anything if your intelligence is below 8.

    After you defeat the Flexile Sentry, speak to Carhillion again with 8+ intelligence.

    He will then move to Majula and wait under a tree to the right of Lenigrast's shop. If you spoke to him with 8+ intelligence before defeating the Flexile Sentry, he will automatically move to Majula after you defeat the boss and sail to the Lost Bastille.
Tips
  • If you have 30 intelligence and exhaust all dialogue options with Carhillion, he will gift you a Northern Ritual Band +1 ring. You can also obtain this ring by killing him.
  • After defeating the Twin Dragonriders, Carhillion sells infinite spells. It is possible that opening the gates to the Shrine of Winter or using a Bonfire Ascetic may trigger this earlier.
  • After killing Carhillion, he can be revived at his gravestone for 3,500 souls.
