Tips
- The Covetous Demon's attacks are mostly short-ranged and predictable, with some jumping attacks covering significant ground.
- There's ample time to counterattack after many of its moves.
- You can shoot the hanging pots to make a lesser hollow fall, distracting the Covetous Demon temporarily. Wood and magic arrows do not work for this.
- Melee builds should be wary of the boss's sides and rolling attacks. If hit by its rollover, expect a follow-up.
- Avoid being directly in front of the demon in melee range, as it can eat you and destroy all equipment.
- If melee is too difficult, use throwing weapons or a bow. Maintain a safe distance and use small-range attacks.
- Watch out for its forward jump attack, also known as a belly flop.
- When looting the chest after the boss, be careful of the poison trap.
- The headless enemies can be dangerous; block their attacks and counter.
- Be aware of the floor plates that shoot arrows.
- Clear out the enemy in the alcove before looting the next one to avoid an ambush.
