    Upon entering Sinner's Rise, kill all guards that drop down. Proceed through the nearby door.

    To your right, find a ladder leading to a Bonfire. You can optionally kill the archers upstairs before or after lighting the bonfire. Note that three undead will spawn near the bonfire.

    Before reaching the bonfire, turn around at the doorway on your right and grab the Large Soul of a Lost Undead. Be cautious of a potential fall.

    Return down the ladder and take the path around the corner. Past the archer room, find a Human Effigy.

    Once the archer room is clear, use the lift and ride it to the bottom. Just before reaching ground level, jump off to collect Lacerating Knives.

    Enter the next room, which is flooded and slows movement. Beware the monster in the left room. If it sees you, lure it back to the lift room to fight. Use the lift to escape and heal if necessary. Repeat this strategy for two more monsters beyond.

    On your far right, past the first monster's location, find Sublime Bone Dust. Inside one of the monster rooms, find a Large Soul of a Nameless Soldier.

    Ahead, you will encounter holding cells with prisoners carrying exploding bellies. Kill the nearby enemy, then those on the pathways past the stairs. The cell doors are locked and require a key from Belfry Luna. The cells themselves are empty.

    Head down the stairs towards the water and follow the waterway. You will reach a cell on your right with an enemy and a cell on the left with two enemies.

    Lure the creature from the right-hand cell out and back slightly to avoid pulling the other two enemies.

    After defeating the first opponent, carefully enter the other cell just enough to attract one enemy. Pull it back into open space to fight it alone before engaging the final creature.

    Kill the last monster. Enter the last cell on the left to loot a Pharros' Lockstone and a Soul of a Proud Knight. Pull the lever in this cell to open the gate at the end of the path.

    Before proceeding through the mist into the Lost Sinner fight, go upstairs to collect a Radiant Lifegem.

Boss Fight: Lost Sinner

Notes: The boss arena is poorly lit, making it difficult to lock on to the aggressive Lost Sinner from a distance. The room can be lit by using the Bastille Key from Belfry Luna to open doors after the two sets of stairs before the fight, which illuminates oil inside.

Strategy:

  • Equip a shield with 100% physical damage block (e.g., the Drangleic Shield, found down a hole beyond the Pursuer fight).
  • The Lost Sinner attacks quickly and darts around. Blocking is crucial, as you can only get in a few hits before returning to defense.
  • When the fight begins, evade or block the initial rush. Stick close to the boss.
  • Watch for consecutive attacks, including circular swipes.
