Alright, so you're looking to stock up on Human Effigies, huh? These are super important for staying human and for some other neat tricks. Luckily, there are a few spots that make farming them pretty straightforward. Let's break down the best places to grab them.

Majula

This is probably the most reliable method if you're willing to use a Bonfire Ascetic. What you'll do is burn a Bonfire Ascetic in Majula. This makes the area tougher, but it also respawns the skeletons that hang out in the basement of the mansion. Here's the kicker: each of those skeletons has a 100% chance to drop a Human Effigy. The number of skeletons you get to fight will scale with the bonfire intensity, so burning an Ascetic will give you more enemies and thus more Effigies. Just be ready for a bit more of a challenge when you head down there!

Forest of Fallen Giants

Another great spot, especially early on, is the Forest of Fallen Giants. You'll want to burn a Bonfire Ascetic at the very first bonfire you find in this area. Doing so will reset the enemies and, more importantly, re-open a chest located in a cave near the beginning of the forest. Inside that chest, you'll find a guaranteed 5 Human Effigies. It's a quick grab and a good way to get a few without too much fuss.

Undead Crypt

This one's a bit more of a grind, but it can be effective. Head to the Undead Crypt and make your way to the area near the second bonfire. You'll find a whole bunch of hollows that keep spawning from the ground. These guys have a low chance of dropping Human Effigies. To really speed things up here, you'll want to use an Old Rotten Bone Shield and any gear that boosts your item discovery. With those buffs, you can average about one Effigy per minute. It's not as guaranteed as the other methods, but if you're just chilling and fighting, it adds up over time.
