Learn how to defeat the Cell Juniors in the Little Nightmares substory in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Get tips on their moves and team composition.

This substory, Little Nightmares, is available during Intermission 3 and requires you to have obtained the Dragon Balls to make a wish to revive the Cell Juniors. Make sure you're playing as Vegeta and head to the Continent Center Area to start it.

When you fought them during the main story, the Cell Juniors have moves that are “borrowed” from fights you already know. They have Kamehameha, Destructo Disc and Solar Flare in this rematch. The first two aren’t really anything special, but Solar Flare is quick and will temporarily stun you, so it can lead to them dishing out some damage. The good thing is that you can bring two support characters, so they can act as a distraction for the other two, plus they will sometimes interrupt the Cell Juniors when they’re trying to attack. Note that you will be fighting two sets of three Cell Juniors each before you are able to complete this substory.

Tips

  • Be aware of Solar Flare, as it's a quick move that can temporarily stun you, leaving you open to further damage.
