Unlock every trophy in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot with our comprehensive guide. Learn how to obtain story-related, substory, villainous enemy, and other achievements.

This guide covers all trophies and achievements in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The ultimate trophy, "Dragon Ball Master," is awarded for unlocking all other achievements.

The game is not overly challenging, with most of your playtime dedicated to the main story. Completing the story, including cutscenes, takes approximately 35-40 hours. An additional 10 hours should be sufficient to acquire the remaining trophies.

Story-Related Trophies/Achievements

These trophies unlock naturally as you progress through the main story:

  • Former Foe: Win the simulation battle against Piccolo.
  • Worse For Wear: Complete the Saiyan Saga.
  • Emperor No More: Complete the Frieza Saga.
  • Earth’s New Champion: Complete the Cell Saga.
  • Bye-Bye, Buu: Complete the Majin Buu Saga.

Substory-Related Trophies/Achievements

Substories are side missions marked with a blue icon on the map. Many are missable as they are only available for a limited time during the main story. However, a post-game update added a time machine, allowing you to revisit missed Substories. You need to complete a maximum of 10 Substories for trophies.

  • Helping Hand: Complete a sub story. (15 points)

Villainous Enemies-Related Trophies/Achievements

Villainous Enemies are stronger versions of regular enemies, introduced near the end of the Saiyan Saga. They have increased health and attack power but use the same moves. They appear in multiple regions and their levels increase as you progress. Defeating them is necessary for certain trophies.

  • A Dark Omen: Defeat your first Villainous party. (15 points)
  • Purging the Plague: Defeat 30 Villainous parties. (30 points)

Down with the Demon Realm! Trophy/Achievement

Mira is the game's superboss. To fight him, you must clear all Villainous Enemies in the game. After defeating the level 95 Buus in the Great West Desert Area and one final Villainous Enemy elsewhere, Mira will spawn in the Land of the Kais. He is level 100 and has significant health, but you can bring two support characters. Stock up on healing items and consume meals for buffs before engaging Mira.

  • Down with the Demon Realm!: Win the battle against Mira. (90 points)

King Kai’s Telepathic Messages Trophy/Achievement

After completing the Saiyan Saga, King Kai will send you telepathic messages as you perform various actions like fishing, gathering ingredients, or collecting Z Orbs. Doing these activities regularly will quickly lead to receiving 20 messages.

  • The Voice in My Head: Receive a telepathic message from King Kai. (15 points)

Summoning Shenron Trophy/Achievement

Dragon Balls become available after the Frieza Saga. Collect all seven Dragon Balls to summon Shenron and make a wish. Dragon Balls are marked with an orange ball icon on the world map. You can place a waypoint on the area map for easier tracking. After a wish, there's a 20-minute in-game cooldown before Dragon Balls can be collected again. You need to summon Shenron 10 times for related trophies.

  • Wish Maker: Summon Shenron from the Dragon Ball menu to make a wish. (15 points)
  • Shenron's Favorite: Summon Shenron 10 times from the Dragon Ball menu to make a wish. (30 points)

Push It to the Limit Trophy/Achievement

Training Grounds, marked by a green muscle icon on the map, allow you to learn Super Attacks. They are found in most regions. Using your Ki-search ability will reveal them.
