Complete Vegeta's Rampage in dragon ball z kakarot, including the Vegeta vs. Zarbon fights and the Victimized Namekian substory.
- Vegeta vs. Zarbon (First Fight)
Walkthrough
- 1You will first fight Zarbon. He uses Bloody Dance, a charge attack with a flurry of kicks ending in a 360-degree kick, and Wild Blaster, a quick Ki blast. Dodge backwards from Bloody Dance and block Wild Blaster.
- 2After the fight, Zarbon transforms and fights Vegeta again. He uses Wild Headbutt, a charge attack, and Shooting Star Arrow, where Ki blasts rain from the sky while Zarbon attempts to grab and slam you.
- 3After the second fight, Zarbon heals Vegeta and questions him.
- 4Meanwhile, Dende takes Krillin to Grand Elder Guru, who unlocks Krillin's hidden potential, unlocking Guru’s Soul Emblem.
- 5The game switches to Gohan and Bulma. Bulma points out the Dragon Balls Krillin has and the five Frieza possesses. One Dragon Ball is near the village where Vegeta was.
- 6Take control of Gohan and head to the Dragon Ball near the village. You can purchase items and food at machines inside the cave.
- 7A new Substory, Victimized Namekian, becomes available on your map.
- 8Victimized Namekian Substory:
- 9A Namekian child is being harassed by Frieza's soldiers. Fight them.
- 10The soldiers use Ki blasts that spread out, which can be troublesome.
- 11After defeating the soldiers, the child doesn't trust you. Offer him water, but he needs Namekian Fruit.
- 12Four purple orbs (Namekian Fruit) are in a circle on your map. Two are on the same island as the child, near trees, and two are on a smaller nearby island.
- 13Return the fruit to the child.
- 14Fly back to Bulma, who suggests the child's distress is due to stress.
- 15Return to the child to end the substory.
- 16Reward for Victimized Namekian: 7,903 EXP, D Medal (x1), Master Korin Plush (x1)
- 17After the substory, head to the main mission marker to see the destruction Vegeta caused in a Namekian village.
- 18Hunt for the Dragon Ball in the nearby water. Approach it underwater.
- 19You will return to playing as Vegeta, chasing Krillin for the last Dragon Ball, with Zarbon chasing Vegeta.
- 20Before heading to the mission marker, you can stop by the Training Ground to learn Rapid-Fire Ki Wave with Vegeta (recommended level 20).
- 21You can also upgrade Vegeta's Super Attacks via the Skill Tree.
- 22Travel to the mission marker for a scene.
- 23Fight Zarbon again. He is in his transformed state and is more challenging.
- 24Zarbon uses Wild Headbutt, Wild Blaster, and Shooting Star Arrow.
- 25During Shooting Star Arrow, Ki blasts fall from the sky, and Zarbon attempts to grab and slam you.
Tips
- For Zarbon's Bloody Dance, dodge backwards away from him.
- You can potentially use Burst to push him away or a Vanish Attack to knock him out of Bloody Dance, but this is riskier.
- The range of Bloody Dance's kick flurry is short, making it easier to move out of range.
- Be ready to block Zarbon's Wild Blaster, as he may use two in a row.
- Wild Headbutt is not difficult to dodge; watch for the marker on your screen.
- Shooting Star Arrow can be difficult to dodge due to trying to avoid falling Ki blasts and not knowing where Zarbon is coming from.
- The soldiers in the Victimized Namekian substory are more aggressive than the robots on Earth.
- The spread-out Ki blasts from Frieza's soldiers are troublesome.
- Guru’s Soul Emblem
- 7,903 EXP, D Medal (x1), Master Korin Plush (x1) for the Victimized Namekian substory.
