Enter Super Vegeta

Learn how to enter Super Vegeta form and defeat Cell in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. This guide covers Gohan vs. Goku and Vegeta vs. Semi-Perfect Cell.

First up, you'll be in a training battle as Gohan against Goku. Don't sweat this one too much – Goku's not packing too many surprises here. He's got the Guided Kamehameha, which is pretty easy to dodge since it doesn't track much and is thin. Then there's the Super Kamehameha, which is wider, so keep an eye out for that. His only other Super Attack is Impact Strike, a melee move that's simple to block or dodge. Just focus on dodging those Kamehamehas and then hitting him back with your own!

After that little sparring match, you'll gain control of Vegeta. Your next objective is to head over to the Southeast Islands Area. If you haven't already, this is a great time to swing by the Training Grounds on Roshi's island to pick up some new Super Attacks. Also, take a moment to check out Trunks' skill tree. Once you're all prepped, make your way to Cell's location for a scene, and then get ready for the next fight.

Next, you'll face off against Semi-Perfect Cell as Vegeta. Honestly, this fight is pretty much the same as the ones you've had with him before. Cell's using the same Super Attacks – the two Kamehamehas, Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, and some melee moves. Nothing you haven't handled already. He's not super aggressive either, so you can often just rush him down to lower his health quickly.

Once that battle is wrapped up, Krillin will notice the other two androids are on the same island as Cell, though neither he nor Vegeta are aware of this yet. Being the proud Saiyan he is, Vegeta is tempted to let Cell reach his perfect form just to see if he can beat him. That's where this section wraps up!
