Echoes of Evil

Gohan vs. Dabura: You start off as Gohan fighting Dabura. Initially, he's pretty straightforward, mostly using melee attacks and basic Ki blasts. Keep an eye out for his downward smash; if it hits, he'll likely follow up with a Flame Blaster. You can avoid this by dodging the initial melee hit. He can also fire three Flame Blasters in a row, so be ready to dodge multiple times. His Dark Sword Strike is a three-hit combo that always lands all hits, so your best bet is to dodge the first swing. If you do, Dabura is left wide open for a quick Masenko or Kamehameha. Use this opening! Outside of that, just stick to your usual battle tactics. Dabura will eventually retreat after some story cutscenes, leading into the next phase.

Goku vs. Majin Vegeta: After the cutscenes, you'll take control of Goku to fight Majin Vegeta. He uses all of Vegeta's familiar moves, but the one you need to watch out for most is Big Bang Attack. Its explosion radius is pretty big, so it's easy to get caught. Try dodging it at the last second or even blocking to reduce the damage. Dodging *towards* Vegeta as it fires can also help you avoid the blast. His Galick Gun is also present, which you should be familiar with by now.

Majin Vegeta's Surge Mode: This is where things get intense. Majin Vegeta will enter a 'surge mode' and unleash a barrage of Super Attacks. This includes Final Flash (another beam attack), Massive Strike (a melee combo), and Super Big Bang Attack (three Big Bang Attacks in quick succession). You might also face Ultimate Consecutive Energy Blast. The key here is to keep your distance as much as possible to give yourself room to dodge these powerful attacks.

The Awakening: After this fight, the story progresses. The energy gathered from the Goku vs. Vegeta fight allows Babidi to fully awaken Majin Buu. Gohan makes a last-ditch effort to stop it, but unfortunately, Majin Buu awakens anyway, marking the end of this mission segment.
