Begin by shopping. Purchase two Gold Needles and at least five Antidotes from the item shop. Buy a Great Sword for Terra and a Mythril Sword for Locke from the weapon shop. If you haven't already, acquire the Noiseblaster and Bioblaster. For armor, buy two Heavy Shields, three Plumed Hats, one Cotton Robe, and one Kenpo Gi.

Enter the Pub and speak with the dark-clothed man on the east side to recruit Shadow.

Examine the barrel between the weapon and armor shops to find a Potion.

Go north of the southern entrance and examine the box for Eye Drops. Continue north to find an Antidote in a barrel.

Go to the Relic Shop and purchase any desired Relics.

Head to the Chocobo stable. Examine the nearby barrel for a Potion.

Examine the box north of the stable for a Green Cherry. Turn around and examine the southwestern box for a Gold Needle.

Get onto the town wall. Near the Chocobo stable, examine one of the barrels for a Teleport Stone.

Enter the house of the old servant of the rich guy in town and find a Potion inside.

Enter the large northern house through its western entrance and exit on the east side. Examine a barrel here for a Phoenix Down.

Go around the corner of this house to a hidden room. Examine the clock to find an Elixir.

Go back to the main part of the house and upstairs. In one room, find a man writing a letter. Behind the bookcase is a secret stairwell. Use the stairs and go to the far east side of the area. Go south as far as possible, then east to find a hidden room. Open the chests to obtain the Hyper Wrist (a Strength booster) and the Hermes Sandals (unremovable Haste).

Go north to find a room with three doors. Go through the third door to find four chests containing a total of 3,000 Gil.

Go through the second door to find a Save Point.

Head to the big house in the north and go upstairs. A girl will give a hint about a hidden passage found by heading down from the bookcase on the left.

Return to the overworld when finished.
