Navigate the treacherous Zozo in Final Fantasy VI! This guide covers the boss Dadaluma, finding key items like X-Potion and Hermes Sandals, and meeting Terra.

Alright, so you've made it to Zozo, a pretty creepy place. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it. First up, you've got a boss fight against someone called Dadaluma. He's not too tough, honestly.

Boss Fight: Dadaluma

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Dadaluma uses basic attacks, Sweep (damages and inflicts Sap), Jump (he becomes invincible, then attacks), Shockwave, Throwing items, healing with Potions/Hi-Potions, and Protect.
• He'll only use Steal to counter if you try to Steal from him.

Strategy:

• Have Celes use Attack or party-wide Cures.
• Sabin should use a Blitz.
• Edgar's best bet is the Chainsaw tool.
• Cyan can use his #1 or #4 Bushido techniques.
• Locke can use Steal or Attack.
• Honestly, just hit him hard with your strongest attacks like Chainsaw or Flurry. He'll try to heal himself with Potions near the end, but he's no match for you.

After the Battle:

Once Dadaluma is down, head upstairs and go into the room. As you move north, you'll see paths leading west and east. Take these paths to find chests containing an X-Potion and some Hermes Sandals. Score!

Keep heading north in the room, and you'll find Terra. Examine her, and you'll get a scene with Ramuh. After that, make sure you grab the four Esper Magicite: Ramuh, Kirin, Siren, and Cait Sith. Don't miss them!

Now, head back south to meet up with your other party members. You'll need to form a new team. Make sure Locke and Celes are in it. For the other two slots, you can pick Edgar and Sabin, or Cyan.

After Celes and Locke have a little chat, find the ghost hanging around nearby. Talk to them – they'll give you a really helpful tutorial on how Magicite and Espers work. It's a good time to equip some Espers. I'd recommend putting Kirin on Locke for sure. Figure out the rest of your Esper setups however you like, and then you can head back to the overworld.
