Phantom Train (Sabin)

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Attacks: Basic Attack, Wheel (double basic), Diabolic Whistle (random status), Saintly Beam (Holy damage), Acid Rain (damage + Sap).
• Weakness: Instant death via Phoenix Down.

Strategy:

• The Easy Way: Seriously, just use a Phoenix Down on the Phantom Train. It's the fastest and simplest way to win this fight.
• Cyan's Role: If you're going the traditional route, have Cyan use his #3 Bushido skill, specifically Swordplay (or 'Flurry' in some versions), which halves the Phantom Train's HP. Keep using it to quickly bring its health down.
• Sabin's Role: Sabin can contribute with his 'Rising Phoenix' or 'Aura Cannon' Blitzes for additional damage.
• Shadow's Role: Shadow can just attack normally or use his special abilities; he's less crucial here compared to Cyan.
• Lever Mechanic: During the battle, you'll see levers on the left and right. Pulling these will stop the train. This is more of a narrative element than a strategic one for the fight itself.
