    Ultros uses various attacks including Tentacle, Ink, Protect, Haste, Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Aqua Breath, Stone, Magnitude 8, and Hailstone. Hailstone deals approximately 75% of the target's current HP.

    After every other turn, Ultros moves closer. After eight movements, he uses Magnitude 8 or Aqua Breath. Hitting him thrice with magic can push him back.

    Re-enter the cavern and jump down to the bridge section southeast of you. Follow the path to the panels.

    Use the southern panel, go east along the bridge, and outside. Follow the path west into the cave.

    Follow the path to watch a scene where the Espers are revealed to be gathering. Strago and Relm are stopped from leaving, and Terra is surrounded. The party then returns to Thamasa.

  • Ultros is weak to fire and Trance.
  • Use Sketch with Relm to end the fight quickly after she joins.
